![]() ![]() Discovery will become a majority owner in. After all, the game aged surprisingly well and fighting alongside miniature versions of my childhood friends is refreshingly nostalgic. It was fun while it lasted: the underperforming Hub Network, an equal partnership between Discovery Communications and toymaker Hasbro is shutting down. ![]() Naturally, fans made their own version of Fusion Fall called Fusion Fall Retro, with a Fusion Fall Legacy in the works that seems like it will include newer CN characters that were never introduced! Personally, I’m pretty psyched for that so I thought I’d bide my time on Retro and get some hype built up for Legacy. ![]() I won’t be going over all of those complications today. Having been intially released in January of 2009, The game shut down just four years later in August of 2013, due to a series of complications leading up to the final decision. It uses the unity engine and the visuals are really nothing to scoff at for its time. Cool Information & Statistics This game was added in and it was played 19.4k times since then. It was a massively multiplayer online game developed in partnership with a South Korean studio: Grigon Entertainment. I’m not sure how many of you actually played or remember this game, but it was originally just Fusion Fall and released by Cartoon Network. So I uploaded a video of me playing Fusion Fall Retro the other day, and I’m currently in the process of uploading the second video to that series, so I figured I’d make a post on my site talking about them. Two fan-made attempts to recreate the game, FusionFall Retro and FusionFall Legacy, were begun following the closure, however both ceased development in April 2020, following DMCA requests on the behalf of Cartoon Network.You can download and play the game by Clicking Here. On August 23, 2013, it was announced that FusionFall would be shutting down, with servers going offline on the 29th of the same month. ![]() Originally using a subscription-based plan, wherein players who were not subscribed had limited access to in-game activities, FusionFall became entirely free-to-Play on April 16, 2010. An entirely new character, Lord Fuse, was created to serve as the game's main antagonist, rather than repurposing a preexisting character. Developed on the Unity Engine by Cartoon Network and Grigon Entertainment, FusionFall was set in the "Cartoon Network Universe", an alternate Earth inhabited by re-imaginings of characters and locations from various Cartoon Network properties. The Fusion Blowfish were going to return in an update. Its a renamed version of the stone turret enemy that went unused in the original game. Its drop table is the same as the Birthday Basher. There is an unused enemy in FusionFall Retro called the Birthday Brawler.
